Page View Cofiguration

Page View Configuration: 

• Go go Confluence Administration Page, on left menu, click on Page View Configuration to go to Page View Configuration page
  
  
  + Administrors can configure page view access
  + Administrators can choose which spaces will be tracked page views 

          + Add Google Map JavaScript API key to view your page views on map.

Get API key here https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key

a) Click on GET A KEY button to open a popup

b) Click on the drop down list and click on Create a new project

c) Type the name of your project and click CREATE AND ENABLE API

d) After clicking Create and Enable API, a pop-up will open and show your API key

e) Copy this API Key and input to Google Maps JavaScript API Key of Page View Configuration page, then click Save

Pageviews' location are getting via IP Geolocation API service. By default, we use https://reallyfreegeoip.org/json/, but use can use other services. For more information please read IP Geolocation API.

After setting successfully, you can view the map by clicking on map icon  in Page Views Statistics page, map will be display like below:
