Go go Confluence Administration Page, on left menu, click on Page View Configuration to go to Page View Configuration page



As an administrators you can configure permissions for Page View Statistics which these options:

Allow space administrators to access Page View Statistics page: if it is checked, space administrators of each space can access Page View Statistics of that space only.

Allow users to view page views of a page: if it is checked, users can view the number of views in Confluence pages

Allow users to view who visited a page: if it is checked, you can click on the number of views in Confluence pages to view Page Statistics 


+ Administrors can configure page view access
+ Administrators can choose which spaces will be tracked page views 

           

        

          + Add Google Map JavaScript API key to view your page views on map.

a) Click on GET A KEY button to open a popup


b) Click on the drop down list and click on Create a new project


c) Type the name of your project and click CREATE AND ENABLE API


d) After clicking Create and Enable API, a pop-up will open and show your API key


e) Copy this API Key and input to Google Maps JavaScript API Key of Page View Configuration page, then click Save


Pageviews' location are getting via IP Geolocation API service. By default, we use https://reallyfreegeoip.org/json/, but use can use other services. For more information please read IP Geolocation API.

After setting successfully, you can view the map by clicking on map icon  in Page Views Statistics page, map will be display like below:
