Go go Confluence Administration Page, on left menu, click on Page View Configuration to go to Page View Configuration page
As an administrators you can configure permissions for Page View Statistics which these options:

+ Don't store information of users who visited pages: if it is checked, users who visited a page will not be tracked. It will be shown as "Authorized User".
+ Track page views for:
- All spaces: track page views for all pages of all spaces
- ONLY these spaces: Administrators can choose which spaces will be tracked page views. Only page views of selected spaces will be collected.
- EXCEPT these spaces: Administrators can choose which spaces will NOT be tracked page views.
- Pesonal spaces: track page views for personal spaces or not
+ Map API: This setting is used to display page views locations on Google Map. Keep Google Maps JavaScript API Key blank to turn off this feature.

Pageviews' location are getting via IP Geolocation API service. By default, we use https://reallyfreegeoip.org/json/, but use can use other services. For more information please read IP Geolocation API.
After setting successfully, you can view the map by clicking on map icon in Page Views Statistics page, map will be display like below:
